I’ve been working in consulting roles helping to solve problems and implement change for more than 20 years. I love working with people, I enjoy finding ways to make progress, so we can be proud of the changes we make. I’ve been fortunate to lead some really large initiatives and help make some big improvements to the way organisations operate. I specialise in business cases, business integration, programme and stakeholder management.

I’ve been delivering change and helping organisations translate strategy and policy into action for more than 20 years. I’m passionate about building intelligent organisations founded on strong business and information architecture. I gain a great deal of satisfaction from working on tough problems and providing planned, organised logical solutions that help build the skills in my clients to tackle the challenges they face.

I have nearly 40 years of experience providing advisory services to both public and private sector clients. Much of this time was with an international, multi-disciplinary consulting firm where I was a partner for 24 years. This included leadership and governance roles. More recently, my focus has been on selected governance roles. I became an Independent Director of 3Plus Consulting in December 2020.

I have managed complex, multimillion dollar and often highly political projects across both public and private sectors and have significant experience in project recovery. I am a great advocate of the fundamentals and best practice standards of project delivery while advocating pragmatism and flexibility to deliver successful outcomes for an organisations business strategy and goals.

I am an experienced enterprise architect and business consultant who has worked for more than 20 years across government and the private sector, in Australia and New Zealand. I have extensive business strategy, management consultancy, strategic planning, organisation transformation and architectural skills and focus on ensuring emerging technologies are utilised to drive business efficiency and agility. I am committed to building a highly skilled and passionate team that will strive to deliver excellent outcomes for your organisation and help decipher challenging and complex conundrums. I have extensive experience across many sectors, including FMCG, local and central government, finance, retail, manufacturing, media, and communications.

I have developed extensive experience in a variety of disciplines across strategy, operational management, and programme and project management. I also have significant experience in the public sector in a variety of senior roles. My focus is helping clients understand the problems that they face and partnering with them, so they realise the opportunities that these present and they achieve the outcomes that they are seeking.

I am experienced in key skills such as operating model design, organisation design, strategic planning and implementing change, which I have developed during my time working for a global consulting firm and my time in the health sector in Canada. Throughout my career I have gained significant experience working in fast paced environments to support internal functions and, in the delivery of services to external customers. This experience has enabled me to build a strong foundation in operational management including project management, communications, negotiation, organisational planning, and leading people. I have a passion for ensuring that we work in a customer focused way to deliver quality outcomes and in continually improving the way we do business.

I have had the privilege of leading complex transformative initiatives across the public and private sectors over the past 20 years in New Zealand and North America. My background spans the full transformation spectrum, including strategy to design, practical agile delivery, business integration and business-led change, risk management, operational excellence and cloud and emerging technology adoption. I leverage this experience to empower our 3Plus and client teams to co-create long-term value.

I am passionate about working alongside leader’s and organisations to realise the full potential of their people capability as a strategic asset.
